Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe presents Eventua, an eight- week program featuring local and national artists at the vanguard of event-based contemporary art.
For Eventua’s finale, CHERYL will present an interactive performance that responds to CCA’s exhibition, The Big Hoot, featuring comic paintings by David Leigh and Larry Bob Phillips.
CHERYL invites you to contribute to and exist within an Otherworldly Ritualistic Dimensional Paradigm. Don an Ego-Cleansing Smock and take a walkabout on the dusty trails of your mind. Pick up a few toadstools, dead leaves and bleached bones along the way. Take all that dark stuff and bind it together. Visit Big Hoot at the Totem Nest for a personalized consultation by way of winged mammalian interceder. Watch projections of intense vibrancy in a darkened room. And hopefully, experience collective colorful catharsis.
